About

Welcome, fellow food fanatics and travel enthusiasts, thanks for reading my blog!

Hey there,

My name is Krasimira Mitreva, but in the arab world, they call me Mira. Born and raised in Bulgaria, my wanderlust led me across three continents. I had the opportunity to live in the sun-drenched streets of Italy, to embrace the rich history of Hungary, and for the last 2 years, I found myself exploring the red dunes of Saudi Arabia.

I confess to having two insatiable cravings: exploring the world’s hidden corners and indulging in the unique flavors each destination offers. This insatiable curiosity is the driving force behind Safar Hunters®, your passport to a world of delicious adventures!

Safar Hunters is not just a blog, Safar Hunters is a community. Here, we share our love for exploration, delicious discoveries, and the occasional travel mishap (because hey, even the best adventures don’t always go according to plan!).

Why Safar Hunters?

Honestly, it all started with a single, life-changing dinner at St. Andrea Restaurant in Budapest. Tucked away in the historic Eiffel Palace, there amidst the warm jewel tones and clinking glasses, I embarked on a culinary journey that would forever alter my course. Inspired by that moment, I knew I had to share my passion for uncovering hidden culinary gems and experiencing different cultures through their food.

What awaits you on Safar Hunters?

We’ll take you on a global culinary journey with easy-to-follow recipes inspired by my travels. Recreate exotic dishes from around the world right in your kitchen!

“The only true voyage would be not to travel through a hundred different lands with the same pair of eyes, but to see the same land through a hundred different pairs of eyes.”
